Celebrating a Legacy in Neuroscience
The 2012 Crown Awards, the third annual fundraising gala for Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons, celebrated the achievements of P&S and the many contributions of the college’s valued partners. This year’s event, held December 5, highlighted Columbia’s achievements in neuroscience. Columbia was the first university to establish a psychoanalytic training center, the first to house a laboratory for basic neuroscience research, and today it remains home to the field’s leading medical scientists.
